Ablative CO2 or Erb:YAG fractionated resurfacing laser would provide the best and most durable treatment for large pores.

Retinoids are my go-to for many things, but if a patient wants to reduce pore size, adding in fractional nonablative lasers makes a visible difference. Using a topical retinoid in conjunction is also helpful.

Most of my patients are on retinoids and I get more reduction of pore size by adding in non-ablative (as well as ablative) fractional lasers.
