Would you recommend lung cancer screening in someone who is not a surgical candidate?

Our lung cancer screening program does not enroll anyone who has previously been deemed to be a nonsurgical candidate. I see that there is no evidence for this based on the enrollment criteria of the NSLT, however it does make sense that these individuals may not benefit from screening due to competing risks.
