For patients with ovarian cancer, do you order folate receptor-alpha testing at initial diagnosis, first recurrence, or first instance of platinum resistance?

I usually order at initial diagnosis because:

  1. We have tumor specimen to test on at the initial dx
  2. Most advanced ovarian cancer will recur initially as platinum-sensitive. But eventually, most of the patients will become platinum-resistant
  3. I have not seen convincing data that folate receptor changes...
