Would you offer additional systemic treatment to a stage II or III resected colon cancer that received 3 months of adjuvant capecitabine/oxaliplatin and now is presenting with a solitary lung metastasis?
And if so, would you offer it pre or post-metastasectomy? Would time to recurrence or ctDNA play a role?

I agree with Dr. Sahin, however, if lung nodule is new and developed more than 12 months from adjuvant therapy, I would suggest ctDNA, followed by surgical resection, then can monitor with ctDNA, if becomes negative then just close monitoring with ctDNA and scans, if positive, would suggest systemic...
